Top Gun- Maverick or Goose
A pure classic, showing up to a Halloween party sporting a Maverick or Goose costume from the film Top gun is a surefire way to receive compliments on your awesomeness. But we know what you’re already thinking; I don’t have a flight suit or white military outfit! No worries! All you really need is a pair of retro aviator sunglasses, some jeans from the past, a plain white t-shirt and a cocky attitude! If you’re really feeling bold, you could try going as Maverick from the volleyball scene in the movie! Just don’t forget to wrap your wrists!
Does the journey to find the perfect costume this year feel like you’re on a mission from God? Why not keep it simple this year by throwing on a plain black suit, white shirt, black tie, black hat and a nice pair of affordable sunglasses and go as one of the Blues brothers? Just stay away from any nuns with rulers…
Another classic is the blind man routine, needing little more than a cane or walking stick of some kind and a pair of nice sunglasses. Keep your head held high and use the cane to work your way through trick or treating with the help of your trusty cane! If you’re looking for a bit funnier idea, try and find an old refereeing jersey and throw that on as your fumble around during Halloween, it’s always a big hit with the sports fans!
Here’s a costume that I believe will be one of the more popular kits. If you’re a fan of Breaking Bad then I’m sure you’re aware of Walter White and his alias Heisenberg. Why not give this character a shot as your Halloween costume this year? All you need is a goatee or mustache (fake or real if you can), a black jacket, black top hat and some large, dark sunglasses. Keep a cool face the entire time and maybe bring some rock candy with you!
There you have it folks, a few of our best ideas for a nice and easy Halloween costume! Just remember, all it takes is a little creativity, possibly some old clothes from the thrift store and a pair of affordable sunglasses from Pugs! Happy Halloween!
