Even though the snow came a little late this year, the 2016-2017 snowboarding season is still looking great. Each day more and more terrain is opening and the chairlifts are turning at the big resorts in the Rockies. With world class snowboarding and some of the best mountain town in the world, Colorado is a common destination for winter vacations each year. This made me think about what the best resorts are going to be for snowboarding this year. Below is the Top 5 Colorado snowboarding mountains to visit this season.

If you are looking for a one-stop shop for snowboarding that mountain town experience look no further than Colorado most popular mountain.Vail is one of the largest ski/snowboarding areas in the world offering over 5,000 acres of rideable terrain. Not to mention, the wonderful dining and nightlife options at vail village. For years, people have flocked from all over the world to Vail to enjoy some world class snowboarding and incredible après ski activities.
