If you can't wait for temperatures to drop so you can hit the slopes, you are not alone. Every year skiing, snowboarding and other winter sports are a very popular way to spend time outdoors. 

 

Lucky for you, you won't have to wait very long.  Who says you have to wait for winter to start enjoying your favorite winter sports? The ski areas certainly don't want you to wait that long.  Every year, they manufacture snow as soon as the temperatures start to drop, so you can hit the slopes before the calendar flips to the winter months. Copper Mountain and Keystone Mountain in Colorado will both be opening this year on October 31st, Loveland Ski Resort, (a smaller resort in Colorado,) will be opening on October 17th if you just can't wait to get started.
